Are you passionate about strengthening music in your early years setting?

Take Art is celebrating 10 years of funding students on the Certificate for Music Educators: Early Childhood (CME:EC), delivered by the Centre for Research in Early Childhood – and an £800 bursary is now available for eligible practitioners living or working in Somerset or Dorset.

Bursary Application Deadline: 1st June 2026, 5:00pm

This course is designed around your own practice. Rather than promoting a single teaching method, it explores how young children learn through music and the crucial role adults play in fostering confidence, creativity and musicality in the early years.

Previous students describe the course as inspiring, transformative and immediately impactful in their settings – with many going on to further study and leadership in early years music.

If you’re ready to deepen your expertise, strengthen provision in your setting, and join a supportive network of practitioners, this is a wonderful opportunity.
