CIL and Music Support Offer – Level Three 26-27

For teachers who need an extra confidence boost, our highly popular Classroom instrumental learning -Visiting Musician model enables class teachers to work alongside a professional musician to deliver whole class instrumental learning.
Our visiting musician will work closely with class teachers providing mentoring support and guidance to build their confidence and capacity to deliver high quality musical learning for their pupils.

  • delivery of a 10-week programme of instrumental learning
  • co-delivered with class teacher to support skills development and confidence
  • instruments will be provided for one term for one class group
  • supports sustainable skills development within school teams

Our musician will:

  • work closely with the class teacher to tailor the programme to your students’ needs
  • mentor the class teacher to help develop confidence and skills in providing musical learning at a pace that works for them

This model enables class teachers to be upskilled in musical delivery meaning a sustainable skill set is retained in your school for future years. Our staff are highly skilled at mentoring teachers and will not ask them to do anything they are not confident with, but will gradually encourage the teacher to take on some of the delivery as the programme progresses and provide constructive feedback for future learning.

This option and price is for one class. If you require two or three classes of CIL the additional costs are £344 for two, and £514 for three.

Please visit the CIL pages in our Store to purchase additional classes.

Instruments for one class will be included in the cost for this programme, and delivered to your school ready for the first lesson and collected at the end of your programme.

If you require additional instrument class sets please visit our Store to purchase them.
