In February our Symphonic Winds members were invited to take part in an inspiring project alongside the Dogada Wind quintet from the Royal Academy of Music London, ending in a fabulous final performance.
Then in March, some of our most advanced Poole Society for Young Musicians (Camerata young string players) were invited to Guildhall School of Music London to take a masterclass in their prestigious Chamber Music festival. It was a very exciting day for the six selected young musicians as part of our ongoing chamber music programme, linked to the world leading Conservatoires.
This term our senior cellists are fortunate to take part in a masterclass in Poole with the brilliant and inspiring leader of the LSO, Rebecca Gilliver. This is a free event in our Broadstone Music series for spectators on 7th June.
So all is Musically buzzing and we always welcome new young musicians to join us!
